Quotes of clouds:

“The truth is the kindest thing we can give folks in the end.”
― Harriet Beecher Stowe

“You must not blame me if I do talk to the clouds.”
― Henry David Thoreau

“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.”
― Rabindranath Tagore, Stray Birds

“A cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction and at such a speed… It feels an impulsion… this is the place to go now. But the sky knows the reasons and the patterns behind all clouds, and you will know, too, when you lift yourself high enough to see beyond horizons.”
― Richard Bach

“I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.”
― e.e. cummings

“May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.” ― Edward Abbey

“The sun always shines above the clouds.”
― Paul F. Davis

“Aren’t the clouds beautiful? They look like big balls of cotton… I could just lie here all day, and watch them drift by… If you use your imagination, you can see lots of things in the cloud formations… What do you think you see, Linus?”
“Well, those clouds up there look like the map of the British Honduras on the Caribbean… That cloud up there looks a little like the profile of Thomas Eakins, the famous painter and sculptor… And that group of clouds over there gives me the impression of the stoning of Stephen… I can see the apostle Paul standing there to one side…”
“Uh huh… That’s very good… What do you see in the clouds, Charlie Brown?”
“Well, I was going to say I saw a ducky and a horsie, but I changed my mind!”
― Charles M. Schulz, The Complete Peanuts, Vol. 5: 1959-1960

Learn Mandarin Chinese, how to say – We are in charge of our attitudes. Positive, upbeat quote about attitude, Lifehouse Broken Lyrics

Today’s one Chinese sentence a day’s topic sentence comes from a positive quote about attitude. Life is very difficult sometimes; when you are down and depressed, I hope you can try to change your attitude and see from the silver lining of the dark clouds. It is easy to say than to do, I know, but, we only live this life once. So, cherish whatever you still have and make the best of it. I hope everyone in lost circumstances can see the light at the end the doomed tunnel of darkness. Don’t ever give up hope … don’t ever …

Learn Mandarin Chinese, how to say – We are in charge of our attitudes.
我们掌握主导我们的态度。
wǒ men zhǎng wò zhǔ dǎo wǒ men de tài du.
wǒ (我 pronoun, I) men (们 suffix to show plural) zhǎng wò (掌握 verb phrase, hold it in the palm) zhǔ dǎo (主导 verb phrase, lead) wǒ men (我们 possessive pronoun, our) de (的 particle to connect the attributive and the noun it modifies) tài du (态度 noun, attitude).

This is the original quote in English

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company … a church … a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude …

I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it.
And so it is with you …
We are in charge of our Attitudes.”

Charles Swindoll

I translated the quote into Chinese and also provide the pinyin and recording.

It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company … a church … a home.
态度,对我来说,比事实更重要。它比过往更重要,也比教育,金钱,状况,失败,成功,别人的想法或说法或所做之事来得重要。它也比外表,天赋或技能更重要。它也可创造或摧毁一家公司…一间教堂…或着一个家。

Lifehouse Broken Lyrics

I do love Lifehouse’s songs, not just for there is a word of life in it, however, this one is particularly sad…
