Aaron Yan ( 炎亞綸 / 炎亚纶; Yán Yǎlún), born on November 20, 1985 as Wu Keng-Lin ( 吳庚霖/ 吴庚霖; Wú Gēnglín) in Taiwan, is a Taiwanese Mandopop singer, commercial model and actor. He is the youngest member of Taiwanese boy band Fahrenheit (飛輪海 fei lun hai ).
He speaks Mandarin, Taiwanese Hokkien, English and some Japanese and Cantonese. He once was a college student at Chinese Culture University, majoring in Journalism and News Broadcasting. Aaron did not finish his degree for switching his whole focus to his career.
About the album :
Aaron Yan released his first full-length album and second overall music record, The Moment 紀念日, on October 19, 2012.
Commenting on the success of his last album, he said: “Thank you to everyone for making my last album such a success. Because of that, I’m going through more pressure this time. I’ve been having insomnia the past few weeks. My limbs would get really cold, my head would get really dizzy, and I would get back pains. Nowadays, I’m forcing myself to sleep before midnight.”
Due to the high pressure of preparing for the moment album, he lost 7 kg in the two months before the album release, and dropped his weight to 61 kg. With the theme of “Autumn Memories,” The Moment consists of ten ballad tracks, in which each song tells of an important moment in Aaron’s life. He later mentioned that he revealed a lot of his private life in the lyrics, and he did not feel very comfortable performing it at first.
