wāng fēng

dāng wǒ xiǎng nǐ de shí hòu
When I miss you

nà yī tiān wǒ màn bù zài xī yáng xià
That day when I strolled in the sunset

kàn jiàn yī duì liàn rén xiāng hù yī wēi
I saw a pair of lovers nestled against each other

nà yī kè wǎng shì yǒng shàng xīn tóu
At that moment, the past surged up to my thoughts

shā nà jiān wǒ lèi rú yǔ xià
In a split second, my tears fell like rains

zuó yè wǒ jìng dāi lì yǔ zhōng
Last night I quietly, foolishly stood in the rains

wàng zhe jiē duì miàn yī dòng bù dòng
Gazed across the street motionlessly

nà yī kè fǎng fó huí dào cóng qián
At that moment it seemed I had returned to the past

bù yóu dé wǒ yǐ lèi líu mǎn miàn
I could not control myself and the tears had already flowed all over my face

zhì shǎo yǒu shí nián bù céng líu lèi
I had never cried in at least ten years

zhì shǎo yǒu shí shǒu gē gěi wǒ ān wèi
At least there are ten songs can give me comfort

kě xiàn zài wǒ huì mò míng de kū qì
However, now I will cry without reasons

dāng wǒ xiǎng nǐ de shí hòu
When I miss you

shēng mìng jìu xiàng shì yī chǎng gào bié
Life is like a farewell

cóng qǐ diǎn duì jié shù zài jiàn
It is from the start, and then say goodbye to the end

nǐ yōng yǒu de jiàn jiàn shì shāng hén
What you have gradually becomes wounds and scars

zài huí wàng lái lù de shí hòu
I turned around and looked the road where I walked from

nà tiān wǒ men xiāng yù zài jiē shàng
That day we met on the street

bǐ cǐ hán xuān bìng bào yǐ wēi xiào
We greeted and smiled at each other

wǒ men xiāng hù yōng bào huī shǒu dào bié
We hugged each other and waved saying goodbyes

zhuǎn guò shēn hòu yǐ lèi líu mǎn miàn
When I turned around, my tears had flowed all over the face

zhì shǎo yǒu shí nián bù céng líu lèi
I had never cried in at least ten years

zhì shǎo yǒu shí shǒu gē gěi wǒ ān wèi
At least there are ten songs can give me comfort

kě xiàn zài wǒ huì mò míng de xīn suì
But, now I will heart break without reasons

dāng wǒ xiǎng nǐ de shí hòu
When I miss you

zhì shǎo yǒu shí nián bù céng líu lèi
I had never cried in at least ten years

zhì shǎo yǒu shí shǒu gē gěi wǒ ān wèi
At least ten songs can give me comfort

kě xiàn zài wǒ huì mò míng de kū qì
But now I will cry for no reasons

dāng wǒ xiǎng nǐ de shí hòu
When I miss you

zhì shǎo yǒu shí nián bù céng líu lèi
I had never cried in at least ten years

zhì shǎo yǒu yī xiē rén gěi wǒ ān wèi
At least a few people can give me comfort

kě xiàn zài wǒ huì mò míng de xīn suì
However, now I will heart break without reasons

dāng wǒ xiǎng nǐ de shí hòu
When I miss you

kě xiàn zài wǒ huì mò míng de kū qì
However, now I will cry without reasons

dāng Wǒ xiǎng nǐ de shíhou

I didn’t want my picture taken because I was going to cry. I didn’t know why I was going to cry, but I knew that if anybody spoke to me or looked at me too closely the tears would fly out of my eyes and the sobs would fly out of my throat and I’d cry for a week. Sad but moving song indeed.
Do you listen to this kind of song when you feel sad Shu laoshi?

Thanks for your updates last time.
I’m doing well back in France. Weather is turning hot & sunny lately, sparking good mood and outdoor workout ‘-‘

How do you spend your week-ends? Reviewing the classes you have to handle for the upcoming week?

Good luck & Best Regards. 加油

    Eric

      Hi Eric,
I am glad that you are having a wonderful summer outdoor fun:) It must be pretty beautiful there in France!
I do like sad songs more than happy songs. Sad songs touch the heart deeply, but sometimes, songs can make the mood go dampen a lot. So, beware, don’t listen too much sad songs, listen to more happy songs!!!!
I am on summer break now, no more classes for this time. Weekend is OK, I spent a lot of time outdoor walking, biking and jogging, a lot and a lot; way too much …
Thank you for the kind concern, and wish you have a great weekend there. Keep learning spirit up, take good care and enjoy, cherish life, my friend.

  2. Eric says:

    Dear Shu Lao Shi

    Thanks for your well-advised reply.

I share the same feeling. I do appreciate sad songs as it moves us toward a particular pool of feelings and emotions. As you wisely pointed out, an excess of sad songs rightfully overcasts overall mood. A balance is hence commendable, as for every thing.

Summer is good and lively here in the part of France I reside. Decently hunting for suitable job prospects for a couple of weeks.

That’s good news that you finally got some free time for yourself to unwind. I do like sports as well. I bet you might feel energetic and energized after such a workout. On the other hand, I bet that overall fatigue is also to invite itself to the feast

It’s great to exchange with you from time to time 老师

Enjoy your day & Thanks for the efforts you input in such a useful website platform ‘-‘

    Kind Regards
    Eric

    • Shu says:

      Hi Eric,
      You are very welcome 🙂
Wish you good luck on job hunting!
I just hurt my knees these days due to too much workout; excess on things is really not so good, and yes, you are right on that!
It sounds like an interesting idea, I wrote down the info. I will think about it:) Maybe one day!
Have a great new week and take good care.
