春天里

In Spring

hái jìde xǔduō nián qián de chūntiān
I still remember the spring of many years ago

nà shí de wǒ hái méi jiǎn qù chángfà
At that time, I had not yet cut my long hair

méiyǒu xìnyòngkǎ méiyǒu tā
I did not have credit card, I did not have her

méiyǒu èrshísì rèshuǐ de jiā
I did not have the home with hot water running for 24 hours

kě dāngchū de wǒ shì nàme kuàilè
However, those times I was that happy

suīrán zhǐyǒu yī bǎpò mù jíta
Although I only had a broken wooden guitar

zài jiēshang ,zài qiáoxià zài tiányě zhōng
On the streets, under the bridges, and in the fields

chàngzhe nà wúrénwènjīn de gēyáo
Sang those forgotten ballads that no body ever asked

rúguǒ yǒu yī tiān, wǒ lǎo wú suǒ yī
When there will be a day, when I become old and no one to rely on

qǐng bǎ wǒ liú zài, zài nà shí guāng lǐ
Please keep me in that period of time

rúguǒ yǒu yī tiān, wǒ qiāorán líqù
If there is one day, I silently leave

qǐng bǎ wǒ máizài,zhè chūntiān lǐ
Please bury me in this spring

hái jìde nàxiē jìmò de chūntiān
I still remember those lonesome spring days

nà shí de wǒ hái méi mào qihúxū
At those times, I had not yet grown mustaches

méiyǒu qíngrénjié méiyǒu lǐwù
No Valentine’s Day, no gifts

méiyǒu wǒ nà kě ài de xiǎo gōngzhǔ
Did not have my cute little princess

kě wǒ juéde yīqiè méi nàme zāo
However, I felt everything was not that bad

suīrán wǒ zhǐyǒu duì ài de huànxiǎng
Although I only had some fantasy about love

zài qīngchén zài yèwǎn zài fēng zhōng
In the early mornings, in the late nights, and in the winds

chàngzhe nà wúrénwènjīn de gēyáo
Sang those forgotten ballads that no one ever asked

yěxǔ yǒu yī tiān, wǒ lǎo wú suǒ yī
When there will be a day, when I become old and no one to rely on

qǐng bǎ wǒ liú zài, zài nà shí guāng lǐ
Please keep me in that period of time

rúguǒ yǒu yī tiān, wǒ qiāorán líqù
If there is one day, I silently leave

qǐng bǎ wǒ máizài,zhè chūntiān lǐ, chūntiān lǐ
Please bury me in this spring, in the spring

níngshì zháo cǐkè làn màn de chūntiān
Staring at this moment’s splendid spring

yīrán xiàng nà shí wēnnuǎn de múyàng
It is still like the warm look of those times

wǒ jiǎn qù chángfà liú qǐ le húxū
I cut my long hair and grew mustaches

céngjīng de kǔtòng dōu suífēngé qù
All the bitterness and pains were gone with winds

kě wǒ gǎnjué què shì nàme bēishāng
However, I feel I am this sorrowful

suìyuè liúgěiwǒ gèng shēn de míwǎng
Times left me even more deeper confusion

zài zhè yángguāng míng mèi de chūntiān lǐ
In this sunny, bright and beautiful spring

wǒ de yǎnlèi rěnbuzhù de liú tǎng
My tears could not help but flowing

yěxǔ yǒu yī tiān, wǒ lǎo wú suǒ yī
When there will be a day, when I become old and no one to rely on

qǐng bǎ wǒ liú zài, zài nà shí guāng lǐ
Please keep me in that period of time

rúguǒ yǒu yī tiān, wǒ qiāorán líqù
If there is one day, I silently leave

qǐng bǎ wǒ mái zài, zài zhè chūntiān lǐ
Please bury me in this spring

rúguǒ yǒu yī tiān, wǒ lǎo wú suǒ yī
When there will be a day, when I become old and no one to rely on

qǐng bǎ wǒ liú zài, zài nà shí guāng lǐ
Please keep me in that period of time

rúguǒ yǒu yī tiān, wǒ qiāorán líqù
If there is one day, I silently leave

qǐng bǎ wǒ máizài,zhè chūntiān lǐ, chūntiān lǐ
Please bury me in this spring, in the spring
