湖海洗我胸襟 河山飘我影踪
hu2 hai3 xi3 wo3 xiong1 jin1 he2 shan1 piao1 wo3 ying3 zong1
Lakes and oceans develop my aspiration
My shadows and traces float between rivers and mountains

云彩挥去却不去 赢得一身清风
yun2 cai3 hui2 qu4 que4 bu2 qu4, ying2 de5 yi4 shen1 qing1 feng1
Clouds of hues, I waved them away yet they did not go
However, I gained cool breeze all around me

尘沾不上心间 情牵不到此心中
chen2 zhan1 bu2 shang4 xin1 jian1, qing2 qian2 bu2 dao4 ci3 xin1 zhong1
Dust can not stain between the hearts
Feelings can not reach within the heart

来得安去也写意 人生休说苦痛
lai2 de5 an1 qu4 ye3 xie3 yi4 ren2 sheng1 xiu1 shuo1 ku3 tong4
Coming was at ease, and leaving is also comfortable
Let’s not talk about life’s bitterness or pains

聚散匆匆莫牵挂 未记风波中英雄勇
ju4 san4 cong1 cong1 mo4 qian1 gua4 wei4 ji4 feng1 bo1 zhong1 ying1 xiong2 yong3
Gathering and departing all are hurried, so don’t need to be concerned about
Don’t need to record the heroic bravery in the wind and waves

就让浮名轻抛剑外
jiu4 rang4 fu2 ming2 qing1 pao1 jian4 wai4
Let the floating fame gently be thrown out to the beyond of swords

千山我独行 不必相送
qian1 shan1 wo3 du2 xing2 bu2 bi4 xiang1 song4
Thousand mountains, I walk alone, you don’t have to see me off

啊~独行不必相送
a1 du2 xing2 bu2 bi4 xiang1 song4
Ah, walking away alone, you don’t need to see me off

Quotes of clouds:

“The truth is the kindest thing we can give folks in the end.”
― Harriet Beecher Stowe

“You must not blame me if I do talk to the clouds.”
― Henry David Thoreau

“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.”
― Rabindranath Tagore, Stray Birds

“A cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction and at such a speed… It feels an impulsion… this is the place to go now. But the sky knows the reasons and the patterns behind all clouds, and you will know, too, when you lift yourself high enough to see beyond horizons.”
― Richard Bach

“I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.”
― e.e. cummings

“May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.” ― Edward Abbey

“The sun always shines above the clouds.”
― Paul F. Davis

“Aren’t the clouds beautiful? They look like big balls of cotton… I could just lie here all day, and watch them drift by… If you use your imagination, you can see lots of things in the cloud formations… What do you think you see, Linus?”
“Well, those clouds up there look like the map of the British Honduras on the Caribbean… That cloud up there looks a little like the profile of Thomas Eakins, the famous painter and sculptor… And that group of clouds over there gives me the impression of the stoning of Stephen… I can see the apostle Paul standing there to one side…”
“Uh huh… That’s very good… What do you see in the clouds, Charlie Brown?”
“Well, I was going to say I saw a ducky and a horsie, but I changed my mind!”
― Charles M. Schulz, The Complete Peanuts, Vol. 5: 1959-1960
